FCMS is a finalist for Public Services Social Enterprise of the Year at the 2025 Social Enterprise Awards๐Ÿ†

Weโ€™re excited to be heading down to the Southbank Centre in London this evening for the awards ceremony!

The nomination celebrates all of the fantastic work of our teams and the partners we work with to deliver high quality care, tackle the wider determinants of health and strengthen our communities.

Last year, we marked 30 years since our founding and being shortlisted amongst all of the other amazing social enterprises from across the country feels like a fitting milestone as we look ahead to our next chapter!

Our team's first outing promoting the Bowel Screening Service at Warren Manor Day Centre!

It was great to see so many people keen to get the help and advice they need to have their bowel screening, even getting photos with our bowel screening photo frame!

Bowel cancer is one of the UKโ€™s most common cancers, so this service is vital in helping people with learning disabilities who are less likely to complete their screening - meaning they often miss out on early detection.

Weโ€™ve listened to feedback from Healthwatch Doncaster and the Doncaster Deaf community - and weโ€™ve made an important change to make our out-of-hours service more accessible.

A new doorbell system now ensures Deaf and hard of hearing patients can easily gain entry when the centre is closed to the public. Our team has also worked with Healthwatch and the Doncaster Deaf Society to create a short British Sign Language (BSL) video explaining how the process works.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Assistant to work alongside and support our COO and Deputy Coo.

This role will involve working closely with the team to assist in day-to-day tasks including management of calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating of documents, and project support including minute taking, documenting and following up actions and correspondence with both internal and external stakeholders.
