Among high‑risk survivors adhering to ACS and AICR guidelines (which include regular physical activity), a recent JAMA Network Open observational study found a 37% reduction in disease recurrence and a 58% decrease in mortality.

Survivors meeting the recommended 150 minutes/week moderate activity both before diagnosis and two years post-treatment saw a 55% lower recurrence risk and 68% lower all‑cause mortality compared to those who didn’t meet guidelines.

Exercise is medicine.

A woman has a 95% chance of survival when ovarian cancer is diagnosed early, more than double the average ovarian cancer survival rate.

A study published by The British Journal of Sports Medicine found individuals with moderate to high levels of physical activity prior to diagnosis had a 27% lower risk of disease progression and a 47% lower risk of all-cause mortality.
During treatment exercise can alleviate side effects and improve treatment efficacy.
Structured exercise programs post-treatment have been shown to reduce recurrence.
