I am offering Structural Myofascial/ Cranial Sacral/Arvigo/Scar work and ANF therapy to treat chronic pain and pelvic dysfunctions. M Method is a boutique fitness and pilates studio set in a beautiful Dorset countryside offering 1:1 sessions and small group classes. Our dynamic 55 minute classes will provide the ultimate workout, targeting every muscle and challenging your fitness level as no class will ever be the same. Choose from a selection of classes ranging from pilates, MOTR pilates, Barre/Pilates, Pilates for runners and cyclists, HIIT and M Signature which combines elements from all other classes. We are one of the few studios outside London teaching pilates on Balanced Body MOTR. Our class sizes are small ensuring personal attention that you would normally get in 1:1 sessions. We want you to leave our sessions feeling energised and lengthened with more body awareness that will benefit you in your day to day life. Studio owner Minna Hepburn is currently studying pilates with APPI and Balanced Body and has completed Level 2 in Certificate of Fitness Instructing, Kettlebell and Suspension training ( TRX) with Premier Global. She is also studying Naturopathic Nutrition with College of Naturopathic Medicine and has done courses on nutrigenomics. Minna has also fully qualified with DNA FIT. Want to try our sessions? End of the week workout in my jogging bottoms. By the end of the day I can’t wait to get rid of my Lycra as much as I love my leggings. I’m yet to find comfy leggings that don’t cause too much compression on my bloody hernia that NHS does not feel is necessary to operate. I have worked so hard to stabilise and make my core as strong as possible. 2 c- sections, hernia and full length diastasis is no joke. There is a nothing I cannot do but I have worked hard for it. I can lift heavy thanks to my movement method combining weights Pilates, , PRI and multiple movement mentoring programs. I’m so grateful to my clients who are my biggest teachers and keep me in my toes every day with their questions, problems and curiosity.
This is the first time I’m doing overhead sn**ch with 12kg. My brain said you can’t do it. I always question what my brain says I can’t do. F**k it I thought, I’m just going to give it a go. And there I went, no problems. This is what I teach to my clients. You think you can’t do it, but have you tried it? Bad news is that I need to buy a set of heavier kettlebells 🫣

A year ago when I found out I had circulating tumour cells in my blood, I spent pretty much 6 months in a freeze state. I got nothing done. As a therapist it was interesting to witness this process in the point of neurology, knowing what was going on in my brain but not being able to do anything about.
I remember being in Devon, meditating and I had this vision. I saw a beautiful green colour and reformers. I knew I wanted to expand and start teaching more but the timing was not right.
Nearly a year later, I still have circulating tumour cells but i went ahead, painted those walls green and bought more reformers.
I’m so proud of myself as it’s been a s**t year, but at the same time life changing. I will never take life for granted, my health. I’m grateful of little things and people my in life.
Moving my body daily, Pilates, rucking and lifting heavy weights have been the biggest healer in the last 10 months. My mission is to get more women moving. Exercise can help to kill circulating tumour cells, improve your immune system, mitochondria biogenesis, improve gut microbiome!!!
My mission is to get more people moving. And share my knowledge of the benefits of exercise that are beyond improving muscle mass and cardiovascular fitness.

My reformer classes are now available to book online. I’m excited to meet more people beyond my regular classes and clients.

During the next 4 weeks, my website will be getting a makeover as well as my studio.
I will be adding more classes and introducing reformer sessions.
There is so much hype around reformer sessions. As much as I love it, I still love my kettle bells, weights, hinging and using simple things like walls as my props.
As much as I love my studio, I equally love hitting my local gym
You can bet my reformer sessions will not be classical Pilates sessions. There will be flavours from .effer

Our Story

M Method is a boutique fitness and pilates studio set in a beautiful Dorset countryside offering 1:1 sessions and small group classes. Our dynamic 55 minute classes will provide the ultimate workout, targeting every muscle and challenging your fitness level as no class will ever be the same. Choose from a selection of classes ranging from pilates, MOTR pilates, Barre/Pilates, Pilates for runners and cyclists, HIIT and M Signature which combines elements from all other classes. We are one of the few studios outside London teaching pilates on Balanced Body MOTR. Our class sizes are small ensuring personal attention that you would normally get in 1:1 sessions. We want you to leave our sessions feeling energised and lengthened with more body awareness that will benefit you in your day to day life.

1:1 sessions are tailor made and a great alternative for time poor professionals or injury rehabilitation. Studio owner Minna Hepburn is currently studying pilates with APPI and Balanced Body and has completed Level 2 in Certificate of Fitness Instructing, Kettlebell and Suspension training ( TRX) with Premier Global. Minna is a certified Melt Method, Spiral Stabilisation and Yogalign trainer. She is also one of the few Foundation Trainer’s in the UK and has done training in Anatomy in Motion with Gary Ward, known for his role in “Doctor in the house” TV series and books by Dr Rangan Chatterjee.

Minna also offers soft tissue therapy and is currently studying at the prestigious Jing Massage in Brighton for her advanced clinical massage certification. She has done further training at Jing in TMJ, Oncology massage, scar work and advanced level myofascia release. Minna is currently doing intense studying towards her certifications in cranial Sacral therapy with Upledger, Body Master with an osteopath John Gibbons and Myofascia release with Til Luchau. Massage: £35 per session until end of the year. My massages are a blend of deep tissue, hot / cold stones, trigger point, myofascia and cranial work.
