I LOVE a bit of self-sabotage 🫣

The thing is my OCD loves to attach itself to my self-worth struggles among a range of other emotional things.

Ive been in my head a lot lately, feeling really rubbish about my self worth. I’m not happy with a lot of things body wise, and as a woman turning 40 next year. I’ve lost a lot of my fitness, I don’t fit in the clothes I used to wear and yet I struggle to change the narrative and get back into a healthier routine.

One big realisation has been how much pressure I put on myself, the self-sabotage is huge.

And it hit me lately, I don’t want my kids to pick up on my self-sabotage mindset & body image worries, I want them to be confident in all they do and in their own bodies and minds.

So I’ve decided to promise myself I will no longer waste my time self-sabotaging.

Instead I’m going to make little changes and focus on consistency rather than perfection.

Im not one to share personal experiences often, but as a mum, a millennial women and a person in the mindfulness and wellbeing industry I feel it’s important to share that we all fight battles no one knows about, and that ok! It’s never too late to start changing the narrative.
