Castleman House is a 10-minute walk from the centre of the Georgian town of Blandford Forum, which has a wide range of shops and other amenities. There are good public transport links.
Castleman House offers accommodation to 48 clients. All accommodation is on the ground floor.
It is divided into 4 x 10 bed cottages and 1 x 8 bed cottage.
Each cottage has its own lounge, dining facilities and kitchen.
Lilac Cottage, with its 8 bedrooms, is a designated dementia cottage.
The area is secure and has a range of dementia friendly equipment.
Bedrooms are single occupancy.
There are no en-suite facilities.
There are assisted bathrooms and toilets in the cottages, with a level access shower room and additional toilet facilities available in the building.
There is also a large, central communal lounge and various smaller seating areas.
There is easy access to extensive garden areas, some of which are secure.
Car parking for visitors is available.
