The Gateshead Health & Care Youth Academy is a Gateshead Cares initiative targeting learners aged 13-18 from underrepresented groups who are interested in careers within the health and care sector.

They have volunteers from the local health and care sector in Gateshead delivering interactive sessions to provide insights into various job roles and career paths, highlighting opportunities beyond traditional roles such as general Doctors and Nurses.
