You have to build YOUR meal plan.

What works well for someone else might not work well for you.

Your plan should suit your schedule and preferences (no...not pizza every day unfortunately)

I have zero time to waste thinking about what to eat, looking up recipes and cooking things from scratch.

Just zero interest in it.

So I make it as easy as possible to stick to my meal plan.

You don't need to go from a ham sandwich and crisps to organic chicken and brown rice.

You just need to make some sensible adjustments.

Knowing what you really want will make sticking to your plan 10 times easier.

When motivation fades, which is always does, you need to keep in mind what you REALLY want.

"I want to lose a stone"

Great.

But what benefit will that have?

Will it make you more confident on nights out?

Or will it help reduce your high blood pressure that's scaring you right now?

Ultimately, any successful transformation is about moving away from where you don't want to be.

So where do you want to be?

Once you know that, it'll make saying no to the office biscuits way easier.

You can't keep blaming your wife.

You can't keep blaming your co-workers.

No one is holding you at gun point, forcing you to eat foods that are halting your fat loss efforts.

No one is hiding your car keys so you can't get to the gym.

These are decisions YOU are making.

If someone in your life is genuinely making it a little more difficult then it is STILL ON YOU.

You need to have the conversation.

Tell them what's important to you.

Ask for their support.

Ask for their patience.

Otherwise you will continue down the same road of excuses as to why you're not where you want to be 🤷‍♂️

Even as I sit here and type this, I'm a little worried I will fail again.

I'm a little worried that I'll be judged for having a coach too...

"A PT who needs a PT?"

Pretty much every successful person you can think of, has a coach.

And I believe in coaching.

I'm always talking about the power of support and accountability but I didn't have any myself.

I've tried it my way.

I let myself off the hook too easy.

"I look alright, Christina fancies me, bloodwork is good, I'm strong and healthy"

This is all true but this is a goal I need to achieve for me.

I'm gonna go all in with it and see where I end up, if I fail again you can all see that too I guess 😂

I'm not lying when I tell you I've lost sleep over this.

"How can I grow my account"

"Why is this not working"

"I am terrible at this"

Meanwhile my clients are losing 20kg of body fat.

Doing press ups for the first time in their life.

Getting rid of their back pain.

Lowering their blood pressure.

So I'm a bit done playing this Meta game.

My clients are happy so I'm happy.

15 years in this coaching game so far, I've seen all the trends and I'll see all the next one's too.

If you can't be arsed with a 60 second reel, you're gonna hate when I send you a 10 minute coaching video 😂

I am all for sympathy and empathy within coaching.

I am forever trying my best to understand my clients, their habits and their self limiting beliefs around food.

But sometimes things just need saying.

There is nothing wrong with the occassional overindulgence.

I am all for it.

But chicken goujons with potato smileys is what my 6 year old eats.

Not eating vegetables because you don't like them?

Come on man meet me half way here.

I get it because I've struggled with it and so have my clients.

Motivation is FUN.

If I watch a clip of Rocky 3, I want to run through a wall and take on the world.

Tell you what's not fun...

Saying no to the chocolate on a boring, stress filled Thursday afternoon.

Going to the gym when you're tired.

Getting a walk in when it's cold.

So what's going to drive you forward?

Your WHY.

You have to know why you want this.

How will changing your life benefit you exactly?

Once you know that, it's so much easier to do the things you need to do.
