Oh...a little bit more then 😬

Now, do you NEED to weigh everything you eat to get in great shape and have a great nutrition plan?

Absolutely not.

But if your goal is to lose fat as efficiently as possible, I highly recommend being as accurate as you can.

1. Weigh your food ✅️

2. Read food labels/menus ahead of time ✅️

3. Use a calorie tracking app ✅️

4. Have a "rough" meal plan ✅️

These 4 things make the process 10x easier.

You can train hard AF 6 days a week...

You can leave the gym sweaty, sore and exhausted.

But if your nutrition isn't in line with your goals, you will not lose a single lb of body fat.

If you keep wasting time looking for the next shiny object or the magic workout plan, you're never going to get results.

Embrace the basics.

They are simple but extremely effective.

That's what gets real results.

Sorry it's not sexy enough for you.

I wish this previous client all the best, I hope they find what they're looking for but this reel is to prove a point.

There's no magic out there, you just have to be willing to do the work.

If you're ready for that, let's talk 🤝

This goes for all parents...

Have a look around.

The norm is middle aged with declining health.

Bad backs, bad knees, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes etc.

Going out on the p*ss every weekend and smashing a takeaway or two.

Listen, to each their own.

But going to the gym does not make you selfish so long as you and your family make it fit your lifestyle.

I personally train Mon-Wed-Fri in the middle of the day because my schedule allows it.

If it didn't, I would HAVE to train at 5am whether I liked it or not.

Because I understand that putting value on my physical and mental health makes me a BETTER Dad.

And the best part is, it takes me no more than 3 hours per week tops.

You don't need 2 hours a day.

2 hours a week could work great.

It's not selfish.

There's a lot of things I could change my mind on, this will never be one of them.

I'm not against running but it is a skill.

And it helps you get better at...running.

By all means, include it.

But just know it's not a cure all.

If you want to look and feel your best start with your nutrition.

Add in some hard weight training.

Make sure you move your body every day.

Then add in extra cardio like running 👊

Now obviously, going 300 calories over every day is never going to result in fat loss.

But prior to this, we were going WAY over on weekly calories due to emotional eating.

My client was able to stop, resist the impulse and make a great choice.

Days like that build confidence over time.

They make you feel in control of food rather than the other way around.

Real change takes time.

Especially if you've spent years in bad habits.

A year from now 300 extra calories wont matter.

A year where the majority of days were made up of good choices is what will matter.

That's what will make the difference 👊

Stop guessing and start progressing.

For the best fat loss results possible, be as accurate as you can be with your nutrition.

Weigh your food.

Check food labels.

Double check serving sizes.

Use a tracking app like My Fitness Pal.

(Use grams and not "cups" or "servings")

Do it right 💪
