We are a well-established family run firm of all female Funeral Directors and team of Memorial Masons who have a great reputation built on trust and recommendation. The team founded by Andrew Walsh is there to provide families with the support needed to help organise a loved ones funeral, at the same time providing them with the highest standard of care and service to each family that they serve. Along with some of the most dedicated and caring members of staff around, Andrew Walsh feels honored to be able to offer the community such a highly professional service. Our head office is based at 39 Park Road, Bloxwich. We have a newly refurbished private funeral lounge and chapel of rest. We are pleased to be able to offer you car-parking right outside our front door. However, if you are unable to come to us or would feel more comfortable with us coming to you, we do offer home visits. We have a beautiful Memorial Showroom where you can view many of our memorials that we can offer you. As well as our Bloxwich branch, we do offer all of the same facilities at our West Bromwich Branch.

Today, on International Women’s Day, we want to take a moment to recognise and celebrate the wonderful women who are part of our Walsh Funerals & Memorials family.

Every day, the ladies in our team show extraordinary kindness and dedication as they support families through some of life’s most difficult moments. Their care and understanding make a difference to so many people in our community.

❤ As Mother’s Day approaches, we would like to remind our community about the special tribute we are creating to honour and remember the wonderful women who are no longer with us but remain forever in our hearts.

We know that Mother’s Day can bring many emotions. For some it is a day of celebration, and for others it is a time to quietly reflect and remember someone deeply loved. Our Mother’s Day tribute is a small way for us to come together as a community and celebrate the lives, love and lasting impact of these remarkable women.

📚❤ World Book Day is a wonderful reminder of just how important books are in our lives. They spark imagination, inspire young minds and help nurture a lifelong love of reading throughout our community.

Over the past few years, we have donated thousands of books to local schools, hospitals and community groups. Many of these books focus on helping young people understand grief and bereavement, providing gentle guidance and reassurance during difficult times. ❤

We believe it is incredibly important to ensure local schools and community organisations have access to the right books and resources to support children when they need them most.

We are proud to play a small part in helping young people feel supported, and we will continue to donate locally and work alongside our community wherever we can.

🎉💜 Happy 8th Birthday, Amelia! 💜🎉

Today is a truly special day as Amelia celebrates her 8th birthday and what an incredible way to celebrate! With the love and support of so many, she has officially smashed her goal of receiving 8,000 birthday cards. So far she has received a whopping 203,000!!! Wow!!!

Meet our newest team member… WALSHY, our official Easter Egg Delivery Manager 🐰💛

Walshy paid a visit to our Bloxwich branch this week with a very special mission - to spread a little extra Easter joy across our local community.

With a long list of children’s wards, hospices, care homes and community centres to visit, he’s on the hunt for as many Easter eggs as possible. In fact, we’re hoping to collect around 1,000 eggs to help fulfil all the wonderful requests we’ve received for a visit from Walshy!

If you’re able to support our WALSH'S BIG EASTER GIVE, any donation - big or small - would be truly appreciated 🥚

National Funeral Planning Awareness Week encourages people across the UK to reflect on their funeral wishes and take the important step of having a conversation with loved ones about them.

We understand that bringing funerals into the conversation can feel challenging and, quite honestly, it’s something many of us would rather put off for another day. But through our experience supporting families, we see first-hand the comfort and reassurance that planning ahead can bring, especially to those left behind.

No matter the circumstances surrounding the loss of a family member or friend, having a clear understanding of their funeral wishes can greatly ease the stress of making arrangements during an emotionally difficult time. It allows family and friends to focus on honouring their loved one’s memory, rather than worrying about whether they’re getting it “right”.

🐣🐣🐣 Our Easter Egg Appeal, WALSH'S BIG EASTER GIVE, is now well underway and we’d like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has donated so far.

If you’d still like to get involved, there’s plenty of time. You can drop your Easter egg donations at any of our branches in Bloxwich, Great Wyrley or West Bromwich.

This year, we’re hoping to make this our biggest Easter egg donation campaign yet. All eggs collected will be delivered to local hospices, hospitals and community centres - helping to bring a few smiles to those who may be spending Easter away from home or going through a difficult time.

Together, we can spread a little comfort and joy this Easter. 💛
