Testosterone isn’t just about libido. It drives everything.
As men get older, testosterone levels naturally decline, often from their early 30s onwards. It’s a gradual shift, sometimes called “andropause,” and although it isn’t as sudden as menopause, it can bring just as many physical and emotional changes.
Low or suboptimal testosterone can lead to a wide range of symptoms, such as:
• Low energy or motivation
• Poor concentration or brain fog
• Low mood or irritability
• Loss of muscle tone or strength
• Increased body fat
• Reduced libido or performance issues
• Disturbed sleep or recovery
Many men are told their testosterone is “within range” but the medical reference range used by most GPs has a very low cut-off point, meaning support isn’t always offered unless levels are significantly below average. Even then, treatment pathways can be limited.
The reality is, you can still experience symptoms even when your results are technically ‘normal’. That’s why it’s so important to look at your results in context, alongside how you actually feel.
💡 The good news? There are many natural ways to support testosterone through nutrition, exercise, stress reduction, better sleep, and targeted supplementation.
There are also trusted private clinics that work with broader reference ranges and take symptoms into account when discussing support options though.
