🩺 Why you should still get your flu shot — even if you already had the flu

If you’ve already been sick with the flu this season, you might think you’re done. But here’s why getting your flu vaccine still matters 👇

✅ You can get the flu more than once. There are different strains, and getting sick with one doesn’t protect you from the others.

✅ The flu shot boosts your immunity. Even after illness, the vaccine helps strengthen your protection for the rest of the season.

✅ It lowers your risk of severe illness. Vaccinated people are less likely to be hospitalized or have serious complications.

✅ It protects the people around you. Kids, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems depend on community protection.

Flu season isn’t over yet. Getting vaccinated now helps protect you, your family, and your community.
