Royal Cornwall Hospital’s Security Services is seeking a full time Security Officer to join their team. You’ll undertake security operations required to support a safe and secure environment at the Trust's hospital site and grounds and provide security for staff, patients, visitors and users. You’ll use your skills and training to manage a variety of security related incidents, conducting yourself in a firm but courteous manner at all times and working closely with the Police Liaison Officer and local Police officers as required.

You’ll have significant experience of working in a security role and dealing with the general public in a diverse, fast moving, customer-oriented organisation in a position of trust. You’ll have excellent interpersonal skills, be physically fit and be willing to attend and qualify as a NHS Security Accredited Security Officer.

Successful applicants will be remunerated on the Band 2 pay scale during training and after completion of the relevant competencies and assessments will move to a Band 3 permanent position with a full time salary of £22,816 per annum rising to £24,336 after 2 years.

The Neonatal Unit at Royal Cornwall Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic clinical support worker to join their team to support the day to day running of the unit.

This role is designed to support nursing, clerical and housekeeping staff so you will need to enjoy variety, be flexible and willing to learn new skills. You must enjoy working with babies and their families and have a positive and proactive approach to your work, which will include working alongside staff providing direct clinical care.

This is a part-time post working 23 hours per week over 11.5 hour shifts.

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CFT) , in conjunction with Truro and Penwith College/University of Greenwich are looking to invest in four Nursing Associate Apprentices (24-month apprenticeship) to work in Adult Services once qualified.

Apprenticeships will commence in January 2024 and students will be required to undertake a mix of theory with Truro and Penwith College and clinical placements hosted by CFT. On successful completion of your apprenticeship and subsequent registration you will be guaranteed a position as a registered nursing associate within CFT.

CFT will pay ALL of your course fees and you’ll earn a salary while training.
