Tempus Leisure is running a pilot project with 3 golf clubs to offer a reciprocal membership deal. Members of the golf clubs are able to use our facilities/activities at discounted rate and vice versa with our members accessing the golf clubs memberships/green fees at a discounted rate.

Friendly facts:

Being physically active throughout your life is one of the greatest contributors to increased quality of life, deep into older age, and helps off-set of many diseases.

However Physical Activity alone is not a cure for being overweight or obesity...it helps.

Anyone feeling sleepy? Other than the fact I love sleep, it's actually the body doing a whole amazing recovery thing and a re-energising process so we maximise our day-life . So what helps us get quality sleep? Yup.... being active :-)

People sleep significantly better and feel more alert during the day if they get at least 150 minutes of exercise a week.

The evidence for short bursts of activity to improve health continues to grow - one suggestion is a family/friends game of frisbee or footy on the beach ...makes short bursts more fun.

If in doubt always worth checking with GP before moving very fast.... just so the body is ready for it :-)
