Our residents enjoyed taking a trip down memory lane this week when we visited Bognor Museum.
Everyone loved discovering local history (Who Knew Ronnie Biggs hid out in bognor for a few months before fleeing to Europe )
We reminisced over all the amazing displays and chatted about times gone by. Followed by a pub lunch of course 😀 🍷🍽🍔

Our residents had a magical time visiting Haskins Garden Centre yesterday to see the beautiful Christmas displays, getting us all in the Christmas spirit, even if it is only November 🎄🤶🧑‍🎄🌲

Thank You for Coming to Our Summer Fete! ☔🌼

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support our Summer Fete—rain didn't stop play as we held it inside.

With your help we managed to raise an amazing £1024.00 which will be donated to Clymping Dog Sanctuary.

We're so grateful for your support, and we hope you still had a great time despite the weather.

We were delighted to welcome the very talented "Sussex Violinist" Inna to Apsley House this week. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful music, which evoked lots of happy memories for many of our residents, lots of smiles, and a few (happy) tears. We all look forward to seeing you again soon 🎻🎶🎻

Yesterday at Apsley House we officially opened "Ellie's Place" Ellie's Place is a beautiful arbour which has been kindly donated to us by Ellies family. Ellie sadly passed away earlier this year and Yesterday would have been Ellie's 100th Birthday. We were honoured that Ellies family chose to celebrate the occasion here at Apsley House. A lovely afternoon with tea and cake and of course sharing lots of wonerful memories of Ellie. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all of Ellie's family for such a beautiful tribute to Ellie which our residents and staff will enjoy. 🫶
