Here is a Birds Eye view of Meriden Adventure playground

Must say the photo is a bit old!

Ever done “mapping” at your playground?

My drawings are terrible so I didn’t do one!

but draw out your playground mention all the play equipment like swings, sand areas, mud kitchen etc and where they are and talk about what you saw/observed in that area good for reflective practice

You can also draw lines around where you saw a child playing going from one place to the other

We’re proud to support amendments to the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill being put forward by Baroness Lister in the House of Lords today.
Over 120 organisations including the Children's Charities Coalition, which includes NCB, UNICEF UK, the Children's Rights Alliance for England (CRAE), Just for Kids Law and Save the Children UK have united to call for the government to make children’s rights a legal priority.
The two key amendments to the Bill would:
- Place a statutory duty on Ministers to consider children’s rights when exercising their functions relating to children’s wellbeing, social care or education
- Require Ministers to prepare and publish child rights impact assessments (CRIAs) for all legislation, policy or decisions affecting children’s wellbeing, social care or education.
