Great to see the Tree at Caraway House in Selsey switched on yesterday and sponsored by us .
Tomorrow is the main selsey community event so come on down between 2-6 and get some mulled wine ( free ) , prosecco ( free) , mince pies , see Santa ( free) and free sweet treats for all children .
Our donation box will be on site if you wish.
Our memory trees are ready for your beautiful memories to be written .

Bognor we are with you Saturday 13th December from about 11am until 1pm .

The memory trees are up and the star and snowflake tags are ready . Please come down and pop your special message for the festive season on the tree .
If you can’t get to us drop us a message and we will have it written for you and placed on the tree and we will then send you a picture of it.

Christmas is a special time for all the family and being together, it is so important, it’s a happy time but also a sad time when we especially remember family members that we have lost, let’s all remember our loved ones and dedicate a star together in remembrance of them, anyone who would like to write a message on a star, that will go on our tree of remembrance that is in our office, is welcome to do this, help us fill up the tree ( going into branches this weekend) with precious stars, you can do this by either coming into the funeral home in Selsey or Bognor Regis and writing your own star, or go online and drop us an email to lee-hobson@outlook.com and we will write your message for you . Everyone is welcome not just our past families but everyone in the community. After Christmas the stars are all gathered up and placed in a box which is then wrapped and placed under the tree for the following years . Get your messages in now . Much love to you all ❤️

Sadly this is so heartbreakingly true 💔 Just lately we are having more and more drivers on the roads being impatient and trying to push in on the Funeral Cortège’s in between the Hearse and the Limousines with bereaved family members in, and even on funerals with our horses too.

This is happening to the point where accidents have nearly been caused because someone just wants to cut in or to cut through.

I appreciate we drive slower, but this is someone’s final journey, and this is done out of respect.

Whether this makes you 30 seconds, one minute or two minutes late for where you need to be, think about that person who has passed and the families that are following.

A final journey is so precious 🤍

Apologies for not posting for a while .

Did you know that if you wish to have a funeral service ( Cremation) on a Saturday morning it will cost you exactly the same as a weekday.

If your funeral director charges you more for a Saturday then please question as to why .

The Crematorium at Chichester does not make any extra charges so neither do we .

Prom season done once again . We were out for two evenings taking amazing people to a wonderful evening . We had a beautiful BMW convertible out for us this year as well .
No charge to any family as we do this as a community give back . All ribbons and bows were supplied by Flowers by Sue Bellamy at no cost .

A window change for a short while for our selsey funeral home.

The Arundel tomb is inside Chichester Cathedral.
