Friday, we did not have our normal style of hearse. We were honoured to do the funeral of the late Michael Frank Britton, who owned a local scaffold company. So it was only fitting for him to travel from the family home on is own lorry. The family had arranged an outer coffin built from his scaffold boards to carry the main coffin in. With around 180 mourners at Arun crematorium and bringing the traffic to a stand still on his final journey to the crematorium.

Sunday 18th May 2025, Darren, his family and friends got to say goodbye to Roly, dad, step dad, grandad and friend to many at 12 noon, Arun Crematorium. Roly was escorted to the chapel by Darren and other funeral directors, with his coffin drapped in a royal navy ensign and a dozen tied red roses from his wife, Karen Bilham. Roly's coffin then was followed in by the grandchildren. His service was conducted by the celebrant, Lisa Pow. During the service everyone had a shot of his famous home made sloe gin, that could strip paint!! At the end of the service 70 white roses was laid on his coffin. He will be missed by so many, RIP Roly.

We were privleged and honoured to do the funeral of the late Paul Edwards, a well loved taxi driver through out Bognor Regis at St Marys Church, Felpham followed by a burial at Chalcraft Cemetery. By the time family and all the taxis we're parked up in Chalcraft there was no room left with over 40 cars
