This has popped up on my Facebook memories today. This is 9 years ago when we got the keys to our first commercial property.

Before this, we’d had all these shelves in our garage and spare room and had been trading from home for 3. It wasn’t very big, this was about half of the space and we didn’t have that many books but at the time it was a HUGE commitment.

Fast forward to now and we’ve got so much more space and 1000’s more books!

We can’t wait to see where we’ll be in 9 years time

I am very excited to share this with you today 😬

My eldest Bookworm LOVES Skulduggery pleasant books but we’ve really struggled to source them for him at good prices. He’s been reading them for just over a year and is now up to book 14, and has also read the books that run along the series too, including the graphic novel we have in stock.

He’s created a real buzz at school and the headteacher has even ordered in the full set as even though we were sending in the books he’d read to school, his passion for the series had spread so far through his school that the headteacher decided to bring additional copies in for the library.

⛄️ Snow day

❄️ We’ve been very jealous of everyone who had already had snow this week. We’ve finally got some and there’s plenty of it! Schools are closed so we’ve made the decision to stay home and play in the snow with the kids.

With Christmas now over, we turn our attention to World Book Day 2026.

We offer a mix of online sales, grab and go sets (everything needed for school to run their own sale is dropped off in school and collected a week later) and in person sales where we attend the school during the day or during an after school event and run a pop up book shop within school.

This takes lots of organising as we work with so many schools, we need to co-ordinate getting 1000’s of books out to schools and out to our team members all over the UK who will also be offering in person sales in schools local to them.

2025 was a very busy year for us. We’ve been trading for 10+ years and every year we get busier and create links with more schools and customers. We’re really excited to see what 2026 brings
