How very lucky are we to have such a large and beautiful garden at The Clough Residential Care Home nestled in a lovely, tranquil residential area.
Today was therapeutic - Listening to the birds chirp, their melodies dance on the breeze, creating a symphony of nature's music.

This afternoon our Pam took some time out from the lively atmosphere of the home to relax and soak up the sunshine in the garden.
For those living with dementia, moments like these are invaluable. The warmth of the sun can ease muscle tension and promote relaxation, while the quiet serenity of the garden offers a respite from the often-confusing world.
The familiar sights, sounds, and scents of nature can trigger positive memories and emotions, helping to reduce anxiety and improve overall well-being.

In the peaceful garden, Pam found a moment of calm, a chance to reconnect with the simple joys of life, and a reminder of the beauty that still surrounds her ☀️

The Clough Residential Care Home is seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a part-time Wellbeing Coordinator. 💖 This is initially a temporary role to cover our wonderful Dawn, who is taking a well-deserved break to recover from surgery. 🤕 With the potential to transition into a permanent contract based on performance, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in our residents' lives! 🎉

About the Role:

As our Wellbeing Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our residents' daily happiness and engagement. 🥰 Your main responsibilities will include:

* Planning and leading engaging activities tailored to our residents' interests and abilities. 🎨
* Providing a supportive and listening ear to our residents, ensuring they feel valued and understood. 👂
* Collaborating with our care team to create a stimulating and inclusive environment. 🤝
* Helping residents maintain their independence and sense of purpose. 🌟

What We're Looking For:

* A genuine passion for working with older adults. ❤️
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 💬
* Creativity and enthusiasm for developing new activities. 💡
* The ability to listen with empathy and provide meaningful support. 🤗
* Experience in a similar role is a plus, but a caring attitude is essential! 😊
