A great day out at Bolton Garden Centre last week .
Thanks to Lee for providing a lovely lunch and Tracy from Woolfold Travel for getting us there and back safely .
Not forgetting our volunteers for organising yet another super trip .

A huge thank you to the Edgworth Walking Football group who have donated a £650 .
This will help to keep our meetings going and provides us with the opportunity to take our members on occasional trips .
This is especially valuable to our members who no longer drive as we have no public transport in Edgworth and getting out and about is a lifesaver for many .
We are off to Bolton Garden Centre next Monday .All places now booked but look out for our future trips !

Our famous bottle stall will be back at the Barlow Christmas fair .Donations gratefully received at our meetings or the team are happy to collect .water ,wine,vinegar ,pop or anything in a bottle .Let’s make it our best year yet and help keep our great little group going for another year of friendship and companionship .

Looking forward to a tasty treat on Monday3rd November !
The team are rustling up a tasty lunch of pie and peas to celebrate Bonfire night .
The guys will be there as usual playing all our favourites tunes to keep our feet tapping.

Just a quick word of warning for our members who are coming from Bromley Cross area tomorrow Bury Road will be closed so you will have to take an alternative route .

A great trip to Gordon Riggs last week followed by a lovely meeting at the Barlow yesterday
We have created a lovely community with our Friendship and Memory Cafe .Friendships are blossoming and we enjoy a comfortable camaraderie helped along by our resident band.
Long may it continue !

Just a quick reminder that we won’t be at the Barlow on Monday 4th August at our usual time.
For those who have put their names down we will be leaving the Barlow at 10 am for our trip to Gordon Riggs garden centre .
