📢 Reminder: Total Triage from April 2026

From April 2026, all GP appointment requests must be submitted using our online Total Triage form.

A GP will review your request and offer the most appropriate care based on clinical need. This may be a face-to-face appointment, telephone consultation, advice, or referral.

⚠️ Reception will no longer book GP appointments directly.
⏳ Urgent cases may be seen the same day. Routine requests will be offered within 7 days.

Ovarian Cancer Awareness is a reminder to know the symptoms and act early.

Symptoms can be vague and may include:

- persistent bloating
- tummy pain
- feeling full quickly
- needing to wee more often
- unexplained changes in appetite

If you notice ongoing symptoms that are unusual for you, it’s important to speak to your GP. When discussing symptoms, let your doctor know about any family history of cancer, not just ovarian cancer and not only in parents or siblings, as this can help assess your overall risk.

Keeping up to date with cervical screening when invited is also an important part of protecting your gynaecological health. Early action can make a real difference. 🎗️💙🩺✨

📢 Important Update

From April 2026, we will be using a new system called Total Triage for GP appointments.

This means every request to see a GP will first be reviewed by our senior GP team to make sure you are directed to the right care as quickly as possible.

💻 How it works:
• Complete the Total Triage form on our website
• Provide as much detail as possible
• A GP will review your request
• You may be offered a face-to-face appointment, telephone appointment, advice, or referral to another service

⚠️ Reception will not be able to book GP appointments directly.

⏳ Appointments may be offered the same day (for emergencies) or within 7 days depending on clinical need.

📝 The more information you give us, the faster we can assess your case and offer the best option.

Nurse appointments are not affected.
