This two-day experiential training explores how Transactional Analysis can be integrated with play, creativity and role play within adult psychotherapy.

You’ll revisit key TA concepts, explore child development and the idea of transitional space, and begin applying creative approaches in your work.

Across the two days, the focus is on developing confidence and practical skills — supporting ethical, reflective and creative practice.

After each TA101, I find myself reflecting on the experience as a whole — the learning, the connection, and what unfolds across the two days.

Part of that is also noticing the different people who choose to come.
Some are at the beginning of something new — considering a different path. Others are already in the field, looking to deepen their understanding and develop their practice.

Different starting points, but often a shared intention to explore, reflect, and grow.

But beyond that, there are certain qualities that tend to show up…

Affordable therapy is coming 💚

Our Psychotherapy Institute Clinic (P.I.C.) offers low-cost counselling and psychotherapy for adults experiencing a range of emotional challenges — from anxiety and low mood to relationship difficulties and life transitions.

Sessions are delivered by trainee psychotherapists in their second year of training, fully supported and supervised to ensure a safe and professional experience.

✔️ Weekly 50-minute sessions
✔️ £20 per session
✔️ Up to 40 weeks of support
✔️ Based in Bolton

This service is designed for individuals on a low income or receiving benefits.
