Our Head Office is situated in Astley Bridge and our Branch Office is in Farnworth We can arrange repatriation to and from anywhere in the world, horsedrawn funerals, bespoke coffins to name just a few. Howarth's Funeral Service is an introducer appointed representative of Golden Charter Limited trading as Golden Charter Funeral Plans which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN:965279).

Howarth’s Funeral Service are looking for a caring and hard working individual to join their team as Funeral Operative.
This role includes working back of house and requires sensitivity and respect. You will also be responsible for maintaining our immaculate funeral fleet.
Other responsibilities will include collecting deceased and bringing them into our care, bearing and driving on funerals and working in the office.
It is essential that you have a full clean UK driving licence and are physically fit.
You will also join the on call rota. Hours of work are 8.30-5.30 Monday to Friday with some weekend work as required. Smart appearance and a sensitive approach are essential.
