Who are the Warblers?
The Warblers is a charity that promotes lung health and general wellbeing by providing singing for lung health groups. The groups
are specifically for people with poor lung health or experience breathing difficulties. The charity is run by a Board of Trustees which manages the business and accounts of the Warblers and makes sure it operates in accordance with charity law.

Where are the groups?
The Midlothian group meets most Tuesdays from 3.00-4.00pm in St Johns and Kings park church in Dalkeith.

Participants say:
•Sing for your health – even if you think you can’t sing, you can!
•It’s just joyful! It gets me out the house and helps with my breathing. It brings me as much joy as my grandson
•Prior to joining the group I was getting antibiotics every other month – I’ve not had them for a while now. It has helped me relax and has helped my breathing.
•The Warblers gives me the company of good friends and the joy of singing

Due to GP sickness, we are currently unable to offer evening private GP appointments.
These appointments are usually used for HGV and taxi medicals, power of attorney and guardianship appointments, and adoption and fostering medicals.
Our practice anticipates being able to offer these services again in the future when we have sufficient GP availability to do so, and we will let our patients know when this is.

In the meantime other private GP services are available. When booking a private appointment elsewhere, you may be required to bring copies of your GP records with you (usually only up to five years’ worth). We are happy to provide you with the records you require at no cost but ask that you provide us with sufficient time in order to process these requests. Requests are usually dealt with within 30 days so it is best to request your records sooner than later if required.

nostril. It’s quick, easy and painless. There’s
no need to sniff or inhale the vaccine, it’ll just
feel like a tickle in their nose.

If your child is of school age, look out for consent forms being sent home. If you child is aged between 2-5, an invite will be posted out to your home address.
