Full Moon šŸŒ Sunday 1st February

This is the snow moon, reminding us that we have been in wintering, we have been in hibernation. And it's still winter, but spring is beginning to emerge.

This snow moon is happening in the sign of Leo, the main character energy.

So what does this mean?
šŸ’› The last full moon of winter, what are you leaving behind in the winter? What is staying buried in hibernation.

šŸ’› Leo is asking you WHO are you rebirthing as this spring? What energy are you bringing to 2026.

Ritual
Take some time to really connect into your body. However, you do that (breathing, meditation...)

Write down all the things that no longer serve you, all the things that you no longer want to carry. You can then rip it up, bury, dissolve it or burn it (safely)

Start a new journal or a new chapter in your journal. This is the beginning of spring. Write down ideas, words, doodle... begin to slow emerge from under your wintering blanket....

I don't think Richard has had chance to post today
So...

It's been a day of hard work!

But we are so excited for you to join us over the weekend as Tauran Tabletops opens its doors!

See you there!

I have made myself a promise in 2026.

I am inviting you to do the same...

The promise...
To do one thing just for you each month

And that's not have a hot bath or a quiet cup of tea. It's something you need to think about, something maybe you need to book.
It could be alone or with someone if you choose. Mine is going to be a mix.

January - I booked in with Chole for a beautiful 90 min treatment back in December. And it was truly just what I needed.

February - I have booked to go and see Hekate at the British Library with a friend.

And the best part is there is no mum guilt. There is no mum/ wife shame. I have taken the time for myself.

Are you making a promise to yourself this year?
What are you doing for yourself?

Monday Morning

And I've got a lot of stuff to do! But I wanted to give you an update as I am fully aware that I have been a bit rubbish in replying and getting back to people. I've also got a list of things I need to do for various things.

Emails to write and send, social media post to keep you updated.....

But I wanted to explain why this has all gone slightly squiffy recently.

šŸ’š The first thing is that Richard is opening a shop this weekend, so we've spent most weekends over Dec and Jan refitting the shop and doing the admin that comes with a new business. Please go over and give him a follow

🩷 Secondly, in November, we decided that our smallest person needed to come away from the school system. So we are also navigating our Home Ed journey. And that is so much more than learning. It's unlearning. It's finding a social group, and it is about us finding some balance.

šŸ’™ Lastly, my biggest small person (who is taller than me now 🫣) is navigating becoming a teenager, and his needs are changing all the time. He may not ask for my time, but he needs it.

šŸ’œ And then me! I am definitely allowing myself some downtime.

So what I'm saying is, I apologise if I don't reply quickly. Please know that I am!
Also, this means a slight change to my working times and days. I am finding my rhythm and balance!

Thank you always for your support in my small business šŸ’œā¤ļøšŸ’™šŸ©·

Little Bird Reflexology

I haven't always been a reflexologist, I was a Nursery Teacher for 12 years.

I often get asked Why the change? Why reflexology? Do you really like feet?

Well the change came about because I now have two beautiful children who are very demanding on my time and my energy, I was finding it very hard to care for 20 plus children during the day and come home and care for my own. Something needed to change.

Reflexology, well it was an easy choice to make. I love reflexology! I have been having treatments myself for many years, it has seen me through both of my pregnancies, pre and post surgery and pain. it has also kept me going in my general wellbeing, though the stressful times when you just need some me time.
