I Didn’t Realise How Tense I Was…

A client said to me recently:

“I didn’t realise how tense I was… until I wasn’t.”

And honestly? That’s so common.

When you’ve been in survival mode for a long time, stress doesn’t feel like stress anymore…
It just feels like normal.

Tight shoulders
Shallow breathing
Constant overthinking
Always “on edge”

Your body adapts… but that doesn’t mean it’s okay.

Through Reiki, meditation, and coaching, we gently start to unwind that.

Not forcing.
Not rushing.
Just allowing your system to feel safe enough to let go.

What people think happens in a session:

✨ instant peace

What actually happens sometimes:

😴 “I think I just fell asleep halfway through”
😂 “why do I suddenly feel lighter??”

Healing isn’t always glamorous…

As many of you know, I’m already attuned to Usui Reiki, and continuing to grow my skills is something I’m really passionate about. Angel Reiki adds another beautiful layer to energy healing, working with gentle angelic energy to support deep relaxation, balance and emotional wellbeing.

Think of it as Reiki… with a little extra celestial support team involved. 😇

• lying in bed tired but not able to switch off
• feeling irritated more easily than usual
• needing quiet more than you used to
• feeling mentally full even when nothing big is wrong

It’s often not one big thing.
It’s lots of small things building up over time.

This is why giving your nervous system space to slow down can make such a difference to how you feel day to day.
