Horses fascinate me and were my first obsession as a child. From my early memories of pony riding in the school, to exploring ba****ck through welsh valleys with feral hearted friends, gallops upon the warm summer grasses + the sweet horsey scent like honeyed musk lingering on my skin. Their instinctual wildness and rugged energy draws me in every time.
When I discovered we were entering the year of the Fire Horse on February 17th, my eyes widened. Something stirred within me + I approached it with a gentle, creative curiosity, feeling called to craft a piece to honour this shift.
The horse brings us a renewed strength, clarity and endurance. We are emerging from what was, a deep, potent shedding and now stepping forwards with clarity + inescapable inspiration.
I created this jewel as a Talisman of luck, to carry us through this new beginning with love, inspiration + authenticity within. To embody the energy of the horse as a daily reminder that it is all within us.
Featuring a horseshoe to hold our luck + intentions, and a small gold star to guide us along the winding path travelled, she is named ‘Epona’ after the celtic horse goddess, honouring my ancestral roots + bringing protection always.
Crafted using the art of lost wax + hand cast in ethical golden brass or recycled sterling silver.
Available as a pendant on braided silk cord or as a necklace with gold plated sterling silver belcher chain.
