Good Morning All

We have our first flu/Covid clinic running today if you have an appointment booked with us we look forward to seeing you.

Please help the clinic run smoothly by:
1. Attending on time wearing a short sleeved, loose fitting top and removing your jacket on arrival.
2. Understanding that staff only have enough time to safely administer your vaccine - they are unable to address other queries or concerns.

If you would like an appointment at our next clinic please contact us next week and we will book that for you.

Good Morning All

You may have recently received a communication from NHS England suggesting you may be eligible for a winter 2025 Covid vaccine and to contact your GP practice or pharmacy to book one.

Unfortunately the information used by NHS England to send this communication was outdated and it has meant that some patients who received the communication are not eligible but have been ringing to book a vaccine.

You are only eligible for a Covid vaccine this winter if you are:

Living in a care home for older adults

Aged 75 or over (on 30th June 2026)

Are aged 6 months and over and immunosuppressed (meaning you have a weakened immune system due to a health condition or treatment).


GP surgeries and pharmacies cannot vaccinate anyone who is not included in the list above. In previous years the eligibility has been broader (for example adults aged 65-74) but the 2025 vaccination programme has been scaled back to a smaller group of eligible patients.



We apologise for any confusion and disappointment this may have caused.

⚠️ Just a gentle reminder:
👉 Admin Requests are ONLY for things like:
📝 Sick notes
💊 Repeat prescriptions
📄 Medical records

If you have a medical problem or health concern and need to book an appointment with a GP, please use the I Have a Health Problem option. 🩺✅

💡 Please remember: admin requests are handled by the administration team, not the clinical team. If you send a health issue there, it won’t be seen by the right people.

🌟 A Big Thank You to Our Patients and Staff! 🌟

Today we successfully completed 206 applications via Total Triage – an incredible achievement! 💪 It’s been a challenging day, but also a very rewarding one for both our patients and our dedicated team.

We’re so proud of how our staff have stepped up, not only managing a busy system but also taking the time to assist patients face-to-face here at the surgery and over the phone. The forms are easy to fill and take less then 2minutes to fill.

💻📱 Many patients needed help with the forms today, and we were right there to guide them through it. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive – thank you for your patience and engagement!
