Are you, or is someone you know, looking for a care home for a loved one in Boston?

We currently have a limited number of rooms available at our lovely home on Whitehouse Lane, close to Boston College.

Rooms at our lovely home have ensuite facilities and we can offer short-term, respite care or longer term support. Weekly fees includes all food, entertainment, a wide variety of activities and personal care provided by our dedicated care teams.

Nutrition & Hydration Week at The Haven 🏡

Our residents have thoroughly enjoyed learning about the importance of keeping hydrated and ensuring they have a well balanced diet.

Some of the foods and fruits went down a treat but pomegranate got a mixed reception as you’ll see 🤩

Our residents also played Bingo with a difference and had a fantastic afternoon 🍑🍌🍊🍎🍓🍍🍒

Thank you Joseph for entertaining our residents with a game of bingo this morning and helping at our breakfast club👌

Joseph is now in his 2nd year of work placement at The Haven whilst doing Health &Social Care Level 3 through Boston College.

Joseph is hard working, kind, caring and our residents adore him!

Ann loves helping with tea trolley and ensures there is a smile with every cake or biscuit given.

It’s the little things that may not appear important to others, but to someone living with dementia, this is so important. By involving Ann in these activities gives her a sense of purpose and helps her feel needed and useful.

Ann will say’ sorry for forgetting’ but then she will knock on a resident door and ask if they’d like tea or coffee, biscuit or cake, always with a smile on her face. When the tea trolley is finished Ann will then say’ just ask me if I can help with anything’

Cassie has been at The Haven for four years. Cassie is such a wonderful carer and will be greatly missed by all, especially by our residents.

Andrrea has been carrying out her work experience at The Haven as part of her Health & Social Care Level 3.

We are proud to support students from Boston College as they move forward in their learning, and gain real life experience working with our residents and staff.

Thank you Andrrea for your professionalism, care and dedication whilst on work experience with us.
