If you’ve been thinking about coming along, there’s still time to book and we’d love to see you there. It’s shaping up to be a fun filled, friendly evening with live traditional music, guided dancing and a great atmosphere.

Come along to our Butterfly Lodge Open Day on Thursday 19th February and take a look inside this brand new space, purpose built to support families during the most difficult of times.

Thanks to the support of Cammacks Furniture Store , the lodge is now fully furnished ahead of our opening, helping to create a comfortable and welcoming space. This new service will be available completely free of charge, ensuring families can focus on being together.

We can’t wait to show you around, where you’ll have the opportunity to:

People are starting to book for our Ceilidh Night and we’re looking forward to seeing you all there!

This is the kind of evening that works just as well whether you’re coming on your own, with friends, as a group or even if it’s your first time trying something like this. You don’t need any dance experience, just a willingness to give it a go and enjoy the atmosphere.

Today we say goodbye to Amanda from our Housekeeping Team, who is retiring after five years at the Butterfly Hospice.

Throughout her time with us, Amanda has played an important role in helping keep the hospice a clean, safe and welcoming place for everyone who walks through our doors. Her care and commitment have been appreciated by colleagues, patients and families alike.

We’d like to thank Amanda for everything she has given during her time here and wish her all the very best for the future. We hope she enjoys her well-earned retirement and finds plenty to do in her newly found spare time.

Events like our Ceilidh Night do more than bring people together for a fun evening, they help support the compassionate care we provide every day at The Butterfly Hospice Trust.

Funds raised through community events help us continue offering care, comfort and support to our guests and their families when it matters most. By coming along, you’re not just enjoying a night of music and dancing, you’re helping ensure our hospice can be there for all who need us.

Our Ceilidh Night is a relaxed, welcoming evening of live traditional music and guided dancing, led by a friendly caller who talks everyone through the steps. No experience needed. Just come along, join in as much or as little as you like and enjoy the atmosphere.

Are you clearing out your kitchen cupboards this New Year?

Our Butterfly Hospice retail stores are currently looking for kitchenware donations to help keep shelves stocked and raise vital funds for hospice care.

We’re especially grateful for:
• Plates, bowls and mugs
• Pots, pans and baking tins
• Cutlery and utensils
• Glassware, serving dishes and general kitchen items

Donations can be dropped off at your local retail store.

To help us make the most of your generosity, we kindly ask that items are clean, complete and in a good, saleable condition.
