Mindfulness for Teens - Why teach mindfulness to teenagers?

Today teenagers are faced with a much faster pace of life. They are subject to stress and pressures from schools, families, friends, and their peers. The expectation from social media is constantly demanding their attention.

By teaching mindfulness to teenagers, we are giving them the tools with which they can find their own space. To give them the time to be curious and explore their emotions, their thoughts and to be comfortable with their own company and show them the skills with which to be sociable with others. Mindfulness helps teenagers make good choices and to respond instead of reacting to situations.

Why teach mindfulness to teenagers?
Today teenagers are faced with a much faster pace of life. They are subject to stress and pressures from schools, families, friends, and their peers. The expectation from social media is constantly demanding their attention.
