My babies ❤️❤️❤️ all grown up now and one of my babies having a baby of her own soon! Reminiscing today looking back at photos of them all makes me feel so proud of them and heart bursting with love. These little beings filled my heart with so much love I didn’t know love like that was possible.
They are my “why” I got into nutrition because I wanted to nourish them the best way possible and do them proud. 😊
I wanted to share 🥰
Happy Sunday.

Hey! Stop 🛑 I know you have heard before that your gut makes 80% of your happy hormone “serotonin”
Yes your gut makes 80% of your serotonin- but that serotonin stays in the gut!! It affect gut motility, metabolism, immune regulation. This serotonin is not for your brain it’s to keep your second brain happy!
If you want more happy gut vibes then ramp up the colour in your meals! Throw in some red cabbage, pomegranate seeds and kale 🥬 get those colours up up up and feel your gut smile from the inside.
Happy gut = happy mind

Have you tried bone broth? I often recommend bone broth for its lovely, gentle gut-healing properties in my clients with sensitive or inflamed gut. It’s handy for calming IBS whilst nourishing. It’s easy to digest and full of amino acids like glutamine that promote gut health. Glutamine is used by the cells lining our gut to be healthy and strong and resilient creating a more resilient and healthier mucosal lining. The mucosa is the key to protecting you from inflammation and immune dysregulation.

You’ll also get your hands on this delicious winter soup recipe using bone broth which i always keep in my cupboard - it’s delicious and so easy to add to recipes.

"Evie has been extremely helpful. After letting her know my symptoms and submitting a food diary she was able to diagnose the problems and advise how to deal with them. I feel much better now! Highly recommended."

I am a proud Mum to three teenagers; this is the most rewarding and best job I have ever had! As with most things in my life, becoming a Mum of three happened very quickly, following the birth of my first child, I soon found myself pregnant with twins and had a very speedy initiation into motherhood, sleep deprivation and the benefits of healthy eating!
I’d always had an interest in how the Human body functions, spending my ‘me’ time reading books on cellular biology and immunology so a career in Nutritional Therapy seemed the perfect fit, a career that combined my passion for learning with the end goal of helping people to eat well.
Whilst juggling motherhood, I trained and qualified with a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy at the world renowned Institute of Optimum Nutrition and then, having found my real passion the gut, digestive system and the gut microbiome, I went on as many courses and seminars as I could. My family loved the weekly menu planning as my knowledge increased and I tried out my nutritional findings on them!
As I multitasked my way through the early years with my children, combining parenting and studying, I discovered that I had an autoimmune disease. Like most people I had put down all those little niggly medical issues to being tired and overstretched but because of my interest and knowledge in the benefits of good nutrition I soon realised that there was a bigger picture. Auto immune diseases by their very nature are difficult to pinpoint as the symptoms can be subtle and creep up on you slowly and over some time. Fortunately, my training and knowledge meant that I easily adapted my diet, lifestyle and was able to reduce my auto-immune antibodies without the need for any medication. I am symptom free and the healthiest I have ever been.
Beyond my gorgeous children and Sonny, the dog I am completely nuts about helping people make small, simple changes to their diets and lifestyle that will have a big impact on their health and well being. The biggest barriers to weight loss and healthy eating are time and practicalities and I promise you that I won’t have you driving (or walking) miles for an obscure ingredient, everything I teach you and everything you learn will easily be incorporated and managed around your daily life and you will begin to see the benefits very quickly.
