“ I’m fine, thank you.”
How many times have you said that line?
How many times have you just carried on, despite knowing you are anxious, dysregulated, exhausted?
How many times have you gone with the flow, to keep the peace, for fear of upsetting someone?
Then you realise your unhappy, the juggling starts to crumble, the tears start to fall and now everyone starts to notice something is wrong and now you feel guilty because it’s your fault, it’s falling apart.
People pleasing, trying to have and do it all!
If this resonates with you, please get some support. Don’t sit with it in your head hoping it gets better, hoping you’ll be seen, heard, noticed. Hoping working harder will make it better, doing more will fix it!
It doesn’t.
What helps is slowing down.
Learning to communicate your needs.
Finding yourself.
Finding your voice.
Feeling safe. Safe enough to find different feelings.
Learning to know your likes and dislikes.
Putting in boundaries.
Making better choices.
Leaning into the discomfort to find the comfort.
Owning it. All the messy, crappy, meh 🫤 all of it.
Creating space to figure out. What do YOU want?!
It’s not an over night job but choosing you as your next project will be the best thing that you will ever do.
The only downside is.. other people might not like it 😉
Happy Sunday 💖🙌🏻
