Part of the Kingsley Healthcare Group. Highcliffe provides quality nursing and dementia care for up to 45 residents at any one time.

Set on the Dorset coast in Highcliffe, a short stroll from the clifftop, Highcliffe Nursing Home offers a restful setting for nursing, dementia and residential care. Large, comfortable communal areas are equipped with plenty of comfortable chairs and large flat screen televisions, and residents have independent access to a secure landscaped garden. To find out information about current availability, a person centred assessment or to simply arrange a visit please do not hesitate to contact the home. We actively encourage those who are considering living at Highcliffe to visit and spend some time with us to gain an accurate perception of the care we offer. You are invited to come for lunch or just for a look round the property. Staff are around at all times of the day and they will be happy to give you a guided tour and answer your questions. If you would like a discussion with the manager, then an appointment can always be made.

We had a lovely arts and crafts afternoon activity decorating chosen pumpkins and tree templates 🌳

Bingo pens and nail varnish were our source of colour to create the artwork.

Saturday morning we had our move and groove session with Sue from Activities ! 🙌💪

We made flowers from paper circles and tissue paper - very effective and pretty! 🌷

On Sunday we celebrated three Birthday's - our resident Tess and both Carole and Sue from our Activities Team.

John from our Kitchen made a lovely Birthday cake for Tess and staff sang Happy Birthday to her. Carole provided entertainment to a packed lounge singing and playing her ukulele!

Beryl and Peter enjoyed afternoon tea with tambourines poised. Robin thoroughly enjoyed playing his tambourine.

We had a wonderful afternoon together 💜

Celebrating !! 🌽🥬

Residents, staff and relatives enjoyed a colourful and sensory afternoon while displaying and expressing their cooking skills in an attempt to try vegetarian recipes 🥳

Stuffed tomatoes, zucchini, mushrooms and peppers were the challenge of our afternoon☺️!

Needless to say we had plenty of fun spending the afternoon together sharing our experiences about cooking 🧑‍🍳 !!

💃🎶 Move & Groove at Highcliffe! 🎶💃

Activities Lead Carole got everyone smiling this morning with an energetic Move & Groove session – complete with colourful pom-poms and upbeat rock ’n’ roll tunes! 🎵

Residents Robin and Estelle loved joining in, and Maureen shared a lovely moment, saying “All the compliments remind me of you.” 💛

Afterwards, we chatted about mental health and positivity, reflecting on inspiring words and images.

A truly uplifting, mood-boosting morning for everyone! 🌼

Brian and Carole from Activities were out in the gardens picking the ripe vegetables, tomatoes and runner beans 🌽🥬

We had a brilliant runner bean crop this year - Brian felt very proud and was happy washing the harvest! 🙌

Our lovely residents, family members and staff indulged in an afternoon filled with coffee related activities!

From arts and crafts to testing our skills using the coffee machine, indulging in the fantastic aromas and different tastes of this great drink that is coffee!!! ☕☕☕
