I can't believe we've been here more than 3 weeks. So far so very good, we hoped for joy filled days and we have them.
Here's a selection of how I spend my time... Chicken choosing, motorhoming to Margate for babies birthdays, walking in the silent valley, chatting to Lin our pseudo farmer out back, welcoming friends for a long lunch, meeting a school friend in the pub on the hill, face timing missed hearts, deer spotting on the way to the hairdresser, buying currant bushes at a garden centre that handwrites full instructions, finding great butchers down bumpy tracks and trying to decide which of the 4 very appealing yoga teachers ( only 2 shown) , close to home, to try first !
And builders ... Lots of chats to architects and builders.

Knife design, steels and maintenance

Splitting wood with large and small axes

Primitive fire starting: flint stone and steel, bow drill
Imaginative but practical cooking techiques for groups
