Made a batch of 50 brass 0.24" x M5 cored and slotted screws for a customer. FI material, ordered yesterday and ready to collect today.

This past week we have been using our CNC router to precisely cut some holes in plastic cases ready to have LED light pipes installed. 0.5mm deep shelf and a through hole machined into the lids consistently over 500 boxes. Four 12mm Ø through holes in the side of the boxes ready to accept the connectors.

A friend had a slip on the ice on Friday as they were walking along in the morning. The slip resulted in a nasty break to the femur. Fortunately some local builders helped very quickly (thanks to you), a passing ambulance stopped and gave medical aid and transported them to hospital. A passing Doctor also helped and went in the ambulance with them.

It wasn't quick to get to hospital because of the seriousness of the break and care needed to get there, at one point they had to unstick the patient from the ice. It was only after they checked in and the crew were leaving and the casual question of when does your shift end that it became clear that their shift had already ended - a number of hours ago - they were "off duty" when they stopped.

This is why the is so wonderful, and should be protected / saved / cherished. Thanks to all that helped. This wont be the only story that will come out of the wintry weather of going above and beyond by the NHS staff but thanks to them for caring.

With Christmas coming and the general merriment and good cheer that it spreads also comes the reduced hours and staff availability during the Christmas / New Year holiday period.

So like Christmas shopping try not to leave it to the last minute and get the orders in early as the last shipping day will be the 22nd December and then reopening on Tuesday 2nd January 2018. A reduced service will be available through email between the 27th to the 29th December but it will not be constantly monitored.
