The church was full. People came to remember the ones who've died, to sit with grief instead of pushing through Christmas alone.

A massive 'thank you' to all who donated through our annual Christmas Memorial Service to help raise funds for the LoveChurch appeal to provide Christmas gifts for children of refugee and disadvantaged families in the local area. We're proud to announce that the grand sum of £300 has been presented to the Church!

On Saturday we held our annual Memorial Service at Immanuel Church in Southbourne. This was a beautiful, supportive service led by Sally Nevitt, Elder Persons' chaplain at the Church, and all those attending wrote a message on a bauble to either hang on our memory tree or take home for their own tree. Candles were lit while the roll of honour was read out and Sing People Sing accompanied the candle lighting with an acapella version of Silent Night. This year we are proud to support LoveChurch in Boscombe with their appeal for toys for local refugee and disadvantaged children and we raised £275 from donations! Thank you so much everyone for helping this worthwhile cause!
