A huge thank you to Tesco Community for their generous donation of £390 to SEDCAT! 🎉

These funds were raised through their wonderful charity book sale stall, and we are incredibly grateful for their support. Every contribution helps us continue the work we do in the community, and this donation will make a real difference.

It was a pleasure to receive the cheque, and we truly appreciate Tesco’s commitment to supporting local charities and organisations like ours.

Thank you once again to everyone involved in making this possible, your kindness and community spirit mean so much to us! 💙

We’re on a mission and we need your help to get there 🚶‍♂️⛰️

Our Chief Officer Natascha Mc Allister is taking on the 8 Peaks Challenge to raise awareness of the vital role Community Transport plays and to help us raise funds towards new accessible vehicles for our community.

Right now, too many people struggle to get to medical appointments, social activities, and essential services simply because suitable transport isn’t available. We’re working to change that.

🎯 Our goal: £6,000 by the end of next week, through Just Giving and various other donations and Grant we now have £5680 donations secured.

Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to providing safe, reliable, and accessible transport for those who need it most.

If you can, please support the challenge and help us make a real difference:

Our Chief Officer at SEDCAT has been training hard for the 8 Peak Challenge at Keswick Mountain festival 💪⛰️ pushing limits, training hard, and climbing for a cause that truly matters.

This isn’t just about the peaks. It’s about raising awareness of the vital role community transport plays every single day, helping people stay connected, independent, and able to access essential medical appointments when they need them most.

We’re also raising funds for new accessible vans, so we can continue supporting people with disabilities and ensure no one is left behind due to lack of transport.

Every step, every climb, every bit of support makes a difference ❤️

If you can, please show your support, whether that’s sharing this post, cheering us on, or contributing to the cause.

Together, we can keep our community moving 🚐💙

We are so grateful to all our donors so far donating to our worthy cause, a very big thank you.

When people donate to our fundraiser, they’re doing more than replacing old vehicles, they’re helping us reach more people, faster and more reliably. New vehicles mean fewer breakdowns, lower running costs, and safer journeys for both our team and those we serve. Every contribution directly improves our ability to deliver support where it’s needed most, without delays or limitations.

Our outing yesterday turned into a little adventure! 🌊☕

SEDCAT took a lovely group of clients out for lunch, and our amazing driver went the extra mile (literally!) by taking a scenic detour down to the beach. After a delicious meal, everyone enjoyed a relaxing drive along the coast, topped off with a well-earned coffee by the sea.

Smiles all around, fresh sea air, and great company, moments like these are what it’s all about 💙

Big thank you to our driver for making the day that extra bit special for our clients!
