🤩🌈What an amazing rainbow over Brackley this evening! A true time for reflection at the end of a busy half term. 🌈🤩

And what a busy half term it’s been…

🍁 Supporting transitions to colleges and secondary school.

🍁 Delivering SLCN workshops

🍁 Listening, problem solving and sharing joy with my supervisees

🍁 Catching up with my regular young people

🍁 Therapy sessions on focusing on speech sounds, phonological awareness, vocabulary, describing, inference, perspective taking, and loads more

🐶🥾🧁I’m heading off for some time with the doggo, walks and cake!

🏴‍☠️💬🏴‍☠️In honour of talk like a pirate day I thought I’d celebrate one of every speech and language therapists most trusted allies - the chap himself - pop up pirate!🏴‍☠️💬🏴‍☠️

💪🏴‍☠️He helps with turn taking, he helps with speech drills, he helps with following directions. From treasure hunts to find his swords, swords placed on speech therapy cards or earning swords by completing activities. Is there anything this pirate cannot do?!🏴‍☠️💪

🤩 We had another super day of appointments today. We loved catching up on everyone’s summer holiday antics and back to school news!

In our sessions we had lots of playdoh splatting 🖐️ syllable clapping 👏 dinosaur rescuing 🦖plural fishing 🎣 fun!!!

🤪🤗 Excited to be cracking open a new game this term. I bought this over the summer - hoping it will be a good game to think about word knowledge, categories, and communicating a message. 🤗🤪

🚗🚙Today Helen and I took our clinic sessions on tour and visited our children at their schools. It was lovely to see how they are getting on at school and speak with their teachers. 🚙🚗
