These sessions offer a gentle, creative space to explore thoughts and feelings, reconnect with yourself, and be held with care and curiosity. You don’t need the “right words” — we work at your pace, using creativity to support healing and growth.

🌿In this important therapeutic work .. it is such a privilege to walk alongside someone as they grow, heal, and reconnect with their own strength.

🌿Endings can feel tender, but they’re also beautiful — a sign that someone is ready to take their tools, insights, and courage into the world on their own.

🌿Being part of that journey, even briefly, is something I’m truly grateful for. 🌿💚

🍂Today I took time to slow down and wander through the forest —
breathing, noticing, and simply being ... 🍂

🍂Among the fallen leaves I created a natural mandala,
a small act of presence and gratitude. 🍂

❤️Moments like these remind me how nature supports our body, mind, and heart — helping us to soften, regulate, and reconnect ❤️‍🩹🍂 which in turn enables me to hold space for others ❤️‍🩹🍂

Taking time for ourselves isn’t a luxury; it’s nourishment. 🌿

This is so true ... it is important to keep this in mind ... mindful of our roots 😊 and indeed others' roots too ...

South Asian Heritage Month is a time to reflect on identity, belonging, and the experiences that shape us. Our roots are a powerful source of strength and guidance.

But strength doesn’t mean you have to carry everything alone.
Reaching out isn’t easy and for many of us, stigma and shame can be real barriers.

There is no single route on our mental health journeys. Whatever journey you’re on now - we're here to support you.

This academic year marks Mindful Roots’ first anniversary—and what a journey it’s been.

One meaningful moment after another, this year has been filled with creativity, connection, and courage.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted me to walk alongside them, whether through talking therapy, drawing and talking, mandala-making, or moments in nature.
