Have you got an idea that could help your community? ✨

Wokingham Borough are launching the Sparks Community Award - offering grants of £100 to £2000 for projects that help people feel more connected and included in Wokingham Borough.

They're looking for ideas that support adults who may need extra help due to disability, health conditions or caring responsibilities to:
Live in a place they call home 🏡
Lead the lives they want to lead 💫
Be part of communities where everyone belongs 🤝

Your idea could be a community cooking class or a neighbourhood supper club, a games or sports club – or something completely new.

They especially want to hear from people who've never applied for funding before. The application is simple, and funding decisions are made by local residents, not by the Council.

Applications open from today, 11 February and will be reviewed on a quarterly basis throughout the year.
