First day in our new vaccination site, and all went well. Thanks everyone for their patience and thanks to all the staff and volunteers for their help.

Due to limited staffing and parking, we currently are operating as a vaccination by appointment only site.

Any queries regarding, booking, cancelling or amending vaccination appointments, please ring the main office on 01344 233300.

Invitations for patients coded as Immunosuppressed have started going out this week, and from next week we will start invitations for 70-74yrs and patients coded as clinical risk.

UPDATE 07th Sept
Eligible patients with Forest Health Group will now be able to access vaccinations at Spedan House
Invitations (SMS) sent to patients 75yrs+ today, phone calls patients without mobile start tomorrow.

AUTUMN COVID & FLU invitations. UPDATE
We have started sending out SMS messages to patients aged 75years and above inviting them to book at the new vaccination centre - Spedan House. For patients in this age group who do not have a mobile number, our call centre team will be in contact as soon as possible.
At present we are only able to vaccinate patients from the following surgeries.
Ascot Medical Centre (covidonly)
Binfield Surgery
Easthampstead Surgery
Great Hollands (Dr Arora)
Green Meadows
Kings Corner
Magnolia House
Waterfield.

Will update when we start the invitation process for other groups/cohorts.

Invitations to next cohort (Immunosuppressed) starts next week (11th onward)

Autumn update: Following yesterday's announcement from NHS England that the Autumn campaign will now start on 11th September, we are busy making plans to start the invitation process for eligible patients from Monday 4th September. Please bear with us, you heard yesterday's news at the same time we did !!

CHANGE OF VENUE:. We returned the Sports Hall to Waitrose in May..... it served us well. Our new location is approx 250m from the Sports Hall.
It's called SPEDAN HOUSE, with the full address being: SPEDAN HOUSE, OLDBURY, BRACKNELL. RG12 8TQ. In readiness for the new programme, there will be new NHS vaccination signs on the streets in the immediate area.

Whilst we have changed location, rest assured many of the familiar faces of volunteers, vaccinators and reception team will be on hand to greet you.

We will update this page with details of the eligible cohort for vaccination in the next couple of days.

Please be patient with us, we are still gathering information whilst ensuring our new site is ready to greet you again

Autumn Covid & Flu campaign.. Will be starting on October 9th. Full details of eligibility and new site will be advised shortly.. please bear with us as we gather information. NHS England guidance for this campaign is to co-administer both vaccines, and the decision to delay until October is to ensure the vaccines produce the maximum protection during the winter months of January and February.

Vaccination Centre update.
We are now entering the final two weeks of our programme at the Waitrose Sports Hall. As the demand for booster vaccinations slows, we have reduced our days/times of operation. Last day of vaccination at the Sports Hall will be Friday 26th May.
For the remaining time we will be open as follows:
SATURDAYS 0910 -1330
TUESDAYS 0910 - 1830
THURSDAYS 0910 - 1330
FRIDAYS 0910-1330
Walk in appointments will be available most days up until 30 mins prior to closure, but please bear in mind it is subject to vaccine availability. To avoid disappointment, book an appointment by calling 01344 233300 or book on the NHS Covid booking system. Vaccination available for eligible patients 12yrs and above for 1st or 2nd dose, or Spring Booster if immunosuppressed or aged 75 years and above.

Big thank you to everyone involved in the programme at Waitrose, front line staff, volunteers, and all the people behind the scenes working hard to keep the programme running. Huge thanks to Waitrose, without their support this would not have been possible.

Spring Booster Vaccination Programme update...
Our time at the Waitrose Sports Hall is drawing to a close, with our vaccination programme finishing on 26th May. We strongly urge any eligible patients (75 years and above, or Immunosuppressed) to call us and book your booster. The NHS Spring Booster programme will continue until 30 June in other locations. Appointments are available by calling 01344 233300 or booking on NHS Covid vaccination booking system..
Big thank you to Waitrose for all the support over the last 2 and a half years.

Additional covid vaccination appointments for 75 years and over are now available to book via NHS

These appointments are available to all eligible patients 75 years and over, irrespective of your GP Surgery.
More appointments will be released for future dates as and when we have capacity

Spring Boosters at Waitrose Vaccination Centre

The Spring Booster campaign starts on 17th April, invitations via SMS and telephone are currently going out to our eligible population.

The criteria for this booster is very specific, we will only be able to vaccinate the following cohorts:

People aged 75 and over ( must be 75 by 30/06/2023)
Patients 5years to 74 years who are immunosuppressed
A minimum of 91 days must have passed since last Covid vaccination.

HOUSEBOUND patients: 75 years and above – we will start making telephone calls next week (11th April onward to book patients who are registered with their surgery as housebound

Previous booster campaigns allowed patients deemed clinical risk/vulnerable to receive a booster – that criteria will not apply for this campaign

The vaccination centre will be open until the end of May 2023, so if you receive an invitation please book as soon as possible.

At present we are only making appointments for patients registered with the following surgeries:

Ascot Medical Centre, Binfield Surgery, Easthampstead Surgery, Forest Health Group, Great Hollands (Dr Arora), Green Meadows, Kings Corner, Magnolia House, Waterfield Practice.

We will not be doing walk-in vaccinations until later in May, subject to vaccine availability.

Saturday 18th. The vaccination centre will be open for anyone eligible for a 1st or 2nd dose. Appointments can be made via NHS covid bookings, or by calling Berkshire Primary Care on 01344 233300. Walk-ins will be possible subject to vaccine availability.

Covid vaccinations - Saturday 4th March. 10am-12.30
The vaccination centre will be open this Saturday for anyone eligible for a 1st or 2nd dose. Appointments available, please call Berkshire Primary Care on 01344 233300 (option 1).
We also have a small amount of flu vaccine available.
