Today on Remembrance Sunday we honour all those who have sacrificed their lives to protect our freedoms.

We also thank everyone who has served or continues to serve in the Armed Forces, including members of our own military community here at Berkshire Healthcare.

Once again this year, our Governor, Baldev Sian, will be attending The Cenotaph in Whitehall following his privilege of laying a wreath at last years’ National Service of Remembrance.

Throughout October, we celebrated , shining a light on resilience, leadership, and joy across our Black communities and staff.

Our events sparked powerful conversations, deepened understanding, and strengthened allyship across Berkshire Healthcare, from allyship and cultural competence to race equality and faith in recovery, all designed to create lasting impact beyond October.

Next, we’ll turn insight into action - developing our Cultural Competence Charter, enhancing anti-racism and allyship training, and building equity into everyday practice.
