Here’s what typically happens during a session:

🟢 Consultation - We start with a quick chat about your goals, areas of tension, injuries or concerns and carry out any necessary physical tests to help us identify any muscular imbalances etc.

🟢 Tailored Treatment - Whether you’re training hard, recovering, or just feeling tight, the massage will be adapted to your body’s needs.

🟢 Range of Technique - Expect a mix of deep tissue work, stretching, and targeted pressure to help release knots, improve mobility, and speed up recovery.

🟢 Post-Massage Tips - You’ll receive advice on aftercare, stretches and strengthening exercises and how to make the most of your recovery between sessions.

✨Managing Stress Levels With Massage Therapy: A Natural Path to Relaxation✨

“I’ve been really stressed recently” – something I’m hearing more & more from my clients of late…

When they come to me for treatment, whether it’s for injury management or just general maintenance, before we even begin our session, I will always make the point of asking the following:
⭐“How are you?”
⭐“How have you been feeling?” – In general and in terms of injury and /or maintenance of any muscle aches & pains addressed in our previous session.
⭐“What’s changed since I saw you last?”

More often than not, just by asking the first question, the answer given, almost instantly indicates they’ve been experiencing an increase in stress levels in some form or another. And if this resonates with you, then trust me when I say, you’re not alone! Life is definitely ‘life-ing’ for a lot of us right now and stress can make navigating the every day to day feel impossible at times.

It’s something I always factor in with my clients, even if we’re working through something more specific such as injury; Why you ask? Well, stress can have a huge effect on the body and can make us feel all kinds of 'funky' and sometimes we don’t even realise we’re being affected.

✨Heading into the weekend with another client review ✨

I have been working with Nat since the very beginning of my journey to becoming a Soft Tissue Therapist and I will forever be grateful to her for trusting me and allowing me to help guide her through both pre and post op.

It has been both rewarding and at times a challenge (😅) working with Nat throughout her hip replacement journey and addressing those additional concerns.

I’m so proud of the progress Nat has made and have total admiration for her absolute determination she had to get back on her feet and restore her strength and mobility as quickly as possible. Just a short 5 months after her operation, Nat completed snowdon and I was lucky enough to join her on the mission 🫡🗻. She SMASHED it! A true warrior 💪🏻

Of course our treatment sessions were a huge part of her recovery but Nat was meticulous in her approach to both pre-hab and re-hab and nailed every single exercise programme I gave her. It just goes to show that the work you do outside of our treatment sessions is just as important as the work we do inside of our treatment sessions and trusting the process is paramount 🙌

I’m so glad that I have been and still am able to be a part of your journey towards long-term strength and health! 💪🏻
