Today we had the proud honour of helping a family say goodbye to a remarkable soul as he begins his final journey. Draped in the RAF Ensign and accompanied by the insignia of his service, he is carried with dignity, honour, and deep respect. 👨‍✈️ 🕊️ 🇬🇧

‘Out with the old - in with the new’

Today we said goodbye to our old premises on Silver Street, Bradford on Avon.
Although it became difficult for us with flood risks, the building served its purpose and helped us in getting the DJ Bewley name familiar with BOA residents whom may have needed our services.

We are proud of how far we have come and what we can now offer from our new premises on Frome Road- BOA. All funeral plan holders should have received letters to inform of our new branch.

A first for me today. Our service began with family bearers holding their loved one on their shoulders outside as ‘The Last Post’ was played on a bugle. The music then started inside & the procession into the crematorium commenced. A very poignant moment on a sunny spring morning.

💌 A new place in Melksham to remember loved ones

Melksham Town Council has installed a Letters to Heaven memorial postbox at The Friend’s Garden in King Street, creating a quiet space where residents can write letters to loved ones who have passed away.

Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, or simply a message from the heart, letters can be posted knowing they will never be opened or read. In partnership with West Wiltshire Crematorium, they are eco-composted and respectfully placed in the crematorium’s Memorial Garden. 🌿

The Friend’s Garden, lovingly maintained by volunteers from Melksham Bloomers, offers a peaceful setting for reflection.
