This weekend, the Mediqas crew were out and about, proving once again that when the going gets tough, the tough get triaging. ๐ช
We kicked off the Autumn Lights Tour in Cheshire, where the skies were lit up with not one, but TWO firework displays๐ฅ
While the crowd was candle in the wind-ing their way through The Young Elton tribute show, we were on standby, ready to sacrifice our Saturday night for safety. And just when we thought it couldnโt get any more bizarre, Dick & Dom dropped a DJ set so banging, we almost had to issue glowsticks and earplugs as part of our standard kit. ๐ง๐บ
Meanwhile, down on Halloween Farm, we were surrounded by pumpkins, ponies, and people in fancy dress some of whom were dying to test our first aid skills (thankfully only metaphorically). ๐๐
We patched up more knees than a school nurse in September and handed out plasters like they were Halloween sweets.
Then it was off to Sheffield, where we were back at Peddlerโs Warehouse for some high-stakes healthcare at the wrestling. ๐คผโโ๏ธ
Letโs just say, when the wrestlers were throwing down, we were picking up mostly ice packs, water bottles, and the occasional dislocated ego.
One wrestler tried to do a backflip off the ropes and nearly landed in our trauma bag. We gave him a thumbs up and a cold compress both applied with clinical flair. ๐ฉบ
Massive shoutout to our Mediqas team who were cool, calm, and collected while the fireworks flew, the pumpkins rolled, and the wrestlers bounced off the ropes like caffeinated kangaroos. ๐ฆ๐ฅ
So hereโs to another weekend of first aid, fast feet, and festive fun. Whether itโs a twisted ankle, a startled sheep, or a DJ-induced dance injury weโve got you covered.
