Standing on the summit of Snowdon, or Yr Wyddfa, reminds you that the greatest views come after the hardest climbs. 🌄

Every step through the mist, every push past doubt… it all leads to that moment above the clouds where you realise you’re capable of more than you ever imagined.

This isn’t just a mountain. It’s a mindset.

Today we’re talking safety.

Trekking and adventures are exciting, but before we head out into the wild, it’s always worth taking time to learn the right skills and precautions.

A little training can make a big difference, whether it’s knowing how to use equipment, respond in an emergency, or simply being prepared for the unexpected.

Because the best adventures are the ones where everyone feels confident, supported, and safe 🚶‍♂️🐻

Adventure starts when you decide to do something that stretches you.

At Walking With My Bear Adventures, we create meaningful experiences in the mountains and wild places, the kind that challenge you, bring people together, and stay with you long after you’re home.

Whether you’re organising a charity challenge, planning a milestone adventure, or looking for bespoke mountain experiences for your team or business, we work with trusted partners to design something truly personal and unforgettable.

If you’re ready to take that step, get in touch:

super long weekend working on the camper-van conversion.
For those who've not aware, i'm converting the van to support my south pole training given i'll be training 10-15 hours a day covering 30-50 miles each session pulling tyre, so i want to be able to rest between each session without having to drive.

This weekend i got thr cab head lining insulated, 2X Remite control roof vents and 2X side pid extensions whichbwill give a 6ft7inch bed acroos the rear of the van.

next stage is electrics to be installed with full off grid infrastructure.
Exciting times.

it's saturday night and i'm working on the van!

Insulation in and now preparing the back for a double bed and sleeping pods to be fitted which will give me 6ft7inch long double bed!

Just what i'll need after a 10-15 hour tyre pulling training sessions, which will mean i will cover between 30-50miles per session!
