We are officially on the countdown to Christmas. Advent Calendars still on Day 6 and haven't hopefully all been eaten. Elf on the Shelf moved 5 times, Christmas eve boxes, matching pyjamas, tree decorations made / bought. We could go on and on. The list nowadays seems endless. Sometimes we do these things just to keep up with everyone else, but what happened to making our own traditions. I remember making paperchains out of different coloured paper which were pinned to the ceiling, proud that we had contributed. Spending an evening of family time making them. If you're feeling stressed bout the Christmas period, we are here on hand to vent, chat, find solutions to any issues you may have. Visit us at www.parentsonline.co.uk

At Parents Online we believe in building a strong community, where no one has to struggle alone. As the famous quote goes - it takes a village to raise a child. This takes us back to when the community watched out for each other, and neighbours were also friends.
We want to bring back these values by creating a safe space of parents / carers / anyone who takes care of children to come and chat with us. We can listen to you vent, cry, get angry. We can help you to find local and national support, we can signpost you and we can offer you years of parenting experience from our peer support workers. Visit www.parentsonline.co.uk to chat

We've had Halloween, we've had Bonfire Night, so the next big event is Christmas. I love being creative as it's not only fun, but it's something you can do with the kids, and doesn't have to cost a lot. I'm posting this link which has 50 ideas of how you can bring the spirit of Christmas to your home, through some Christmas hacks.

When we work together we can become a strong community, where everyone feels supported and safe to share their story. We can make sure no one has to struggle alone, where you, as parents can become volunteers, and feel empowered to pass on your own words of wisdom. If you, or anyone you know would benefit from some parenting support, or would like to volunteer, message us or visit www.parentsonline.co.uk

There are many charities and organisations, even government schemes that may be able to offer help, please don't struggle alone. Come and chat with us and we can help you to get the support you need. Come and chat with us www.parentsonline.co.uk, we are here for you.
