FoodSavers Network The FoodSavers Network aims to help you save money on your weekly shop, save food from going to landfill, and save in a recognised Credit Union scheme.

FoodSavers offers high quality fresh and store cupboard food for a low weekly membership fee (typically £6), at locations across Bradford. Much of our food is unwanted or surplus food, intercepted from being wasted. Membership also gives you the opportunity to attend cookery classes, save in a recognised Credit Union scheme, and enjoy other benefits, dependent on location.

It’s that time of year when FoodSavers & Friends hold their Christmas Stall in St Johns Centre Shopping Centre – promoting their FoodSavers Network across Leeds but also raising vital funds towards their work providing practical support for those that need it most, whilst forging new relationships, supporting others, and celebrating hope.

Do come & see them. We will be there too supporting them & raising money for their funds 💕

We’re cooking up something special for World Food Day… and we can’t wait to share it with you!

This year, we’re teaming up with some brilliant partners to create an unforgettable experience for local school children, celebrating food, culture, and community in the heart of Bradford.

We had a sneak peek behind the scenes with Juli Thompson from FoodSavers Network, FoodSavers Cookery School and Darley Street Market (Bradford Markets) and trust us…it’s going to be vibrant, exciting, and full of flavour!

We're hosting a financial wellbeing day on Wednesday 24th September 2025 with our friends from the Money and Pensions Service, Stop Loan Sharks England, Groundwork Green Doctor, Mind in Bradford, Bradford District Credit Union and The Money Charity. If you know anybody who could benefit from free help and advice, send them along to the FoodSavers Wellnest on the middle floor of Bradford Markets Darley Street Market.

Help Fill Our FoodSavers Network Donation Point at St Johns!

Your small act of kindness can make a big difference in someone's life.

We're collecting non-perishable food items to support those in our community who need it most. Whether it's a can of beans, packet of pasta, or jar of sauce - every donation counts!

Donating is simple:

🥫 Gather any non-perishable food items
🏢 Bring them to the Centre Management Office on the upper mall
👆 Press the buzzer by the office (located next to Magic Nails and Hole in Wand)
🧔 A team member will come to collect your donations

No contribution is too small, and together we can make a meaningful impact for local families facing food insecurity.

Our Story

The Storehouse Café serves delicious and healthy meals on a pay-as-you-feel basis. All of our food is ‘surplus’ food, rescued from being thrown away just because it is surplus to somebody’s requirements, but always high quality and in perfect condition. We also support community organisations across Bradford with fresh food and meals.
