Little life update, my girl is doing amazing considering everything she’s gone and going through, her birth ended up be in a total 180 for what we had planned but she’s surrendered to the unexpectedness of birth unbelievably and I’m so proud of her. She’s now navigating healing from a c-section, epidural and 30 hours of unmediated natural Labour, whilst caring for her newborn in an unfamiliar clinical setting, adjusting to not having the birth or first hour how she had planned and a whole whirl wind of other emotions on top of that can we please send a prayer to my girl filled with love support and compassion because that’s what she needs right now
And can we also just have a mention for what we as women go through & endure to bring life into this world, and navigating doing that in a world that’s not designed to support women or mothers is a whole challenge in itself, so if you see a mama out there today struggling or just doing her thing offer her a hand and tell her she’s doing an amazing job because my bet is that she is
