Bridge

Bridge Bridge can find the right treatment program to help find a way forward for you or your loved one's needs.

The charity supports people in Bradford affected by substance use, homelessness, domestic violence, poor mental health, and people in contact with the criminal justice system. If you or someone you care for is dependent on alcohol or drugs and needs treatment, it is important to know that no single treatment approach is appropriate for all individuals.

Thank you to Social and Sustainable Capital, and Bradford The Telegraph & Argus for sharing our MEGA news about the SASH II loan.

Investment from Social and Sustainable Capital enables charities like Bridge to build long‑term financial resilience. By expanding our property portfolio in Bradford, this investment allows us to offer more people access to stable high‑quality homes plus the support needed to sustain tenancies and rebuild lives.

The Bridge Project (Bridge), a Bradford-based charity supporting people experiencing homelessness, substance misuse, mental health challenges and domestic abuse, has secured a £2.475 million loan from Social and Sustainable Capital (SASC) through its Social and Sustainable Housing Fund II (SASH II)...

💙 Thank You to Our Incredible Support Workers at Bridge 💙

This thank you card is from someone you supported through some of the most challenging moments of their life.

They came to the Reconnect Centre yesterday to say thank you - because you listen, believe in them, and you stay alongside them when things feel overwhelming.

The care you show, the relationships you build, and the barriers you help remove don’t always get seen — but they are deeply felt by the people you support.

Thank you to all support workers at Bridge. 🌟

🎨 This Friday – Creative Time at Reconnect ☕

We’re inviting the people we support to join us for a relaxed painting‑by‑numbers session, with tea and biscuits provided.
This will take place in our Reconnect Centre behind Bridge — a private, supportive space to be creative, focus the mind, and take a breather at your own pace. 💙

💚At Bridge, by supporting people with substance use challenges, we work towards less crime, fewer children taken into care, reduced pressure on a criminal justice system in crisis, and fewer people attending already‑stretched A&E departments.💚

We need Government to outline clear aims and priorities for our field, and offer political leadership to achieve these, ensuring relevant professionals and organisations focus on this life-changing work. 💛Inside the Reconnect Centre at Bridge 💛

Last week gave us cold temperatures, light snow, then rain and misty fog — definitely come‑in‑and‑get‑dry and cosy weather! So, we did what we do best: put the kettle on (again) and the tumble dryer to welcome people living street‑based lives with a warm space to settle in.

And because winter calls for something tactile and comforting, we opened up a chocolate‑themed jigsaw puzzle 🍫🧩 Very quickly, two puzzle sorting styles emerged:

-The colour‑sorters, lining up bars of chocolate piece by piece
-The edge‑first purists, hunting corners like seasoned pros

Whatever your way stay dry, Bradford — our door (and our puzzle box) is always open.
